Socialism vs. Capitalism
Dan Celia: Mainstream Media Pushing a Socialist Agenda, Which Has Never Worked and Creates More Poverty
PHILADELPHIA—Brexit. A roller-coaster stock market. Even better-than-expected jobs numbers.
These are all financial headlines worth talking about, but nationally syndicated host and biblical stewardship authority Dan Celia says that the push for socialism among the media and many politicians is sneaking under the radar.
“I still am absolutely astounded that we have so many economically ignorant people in the press, that they are misrepresenting and pushing for a socialist government and environment that is only an election away,” Celia said on his daily, three-hour program, “Financial Issues.” “Everywhere socialism has been, it has failed miserably. Some claim, ‘I get up every morning. I pack my lunch. I work a 9 to 5 job.’ You call that prosperity? Compared to where we could be headed, trust me, that is prosperity, the likes of which you don’t realize because you haven’t been in those other countries where socialism rules. If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, get on a plane, if you can afford it and go to one of these countries that you want to mimic. That is where the real story of socialism is told.”
Celia discusses these and other global and economic headlines on “Financial Issues,” which is heard on about 650 television and radio stations nationwide and reaching millions more on several television networks. Through the program, writing and daily interactions, Celia, who leads Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries (FISM), has helped people of faith honor God with their finances and be free from a fear of money.
