Ryan Bomberger: ‘My Family Wouldn’t Exist if Governor Wolf Had His Way’

October 4, 2021

WASHINGTON D.C. Last week, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf took to Twitter to comment on the recent Pennsylvania March for Life, stating, “Today’s ‘March for Life’ in Harrisburg is just an anti-woman rally by a different name.” The event was attended by thousands of people—many of whom were women. Wolf’s comment elicited a massive response from many pro-life advocates, such as March for Life President Jeanne Mancini, who commented, “The women who marched today on behalf of innocent human life would disagree. We need more politicians who understand their first responsibility is to protect their own citizens, including the most vulnerable—the unborn.”

Ryan Bomberger, chief creative officer and co-founder of The Radiance Foundation (Radiance, www.theradiancefoundation.org), recently responded to Wolf’s declaration. Bomberger commented, “As an adoptee and adoptive father from Pennsylvania, I was honored to emcee the first official PA March for Life. It was a powerful pro-life, pro-woman event where the majority of attendees were female. My family wouldn’t exist if Governor Wolf had his way. I was conceived in rape but adopted in love. Nine of my other twelve siblings were adopted out of poverty and/or abuse, and many of my god-brothers and god-sisters have Down Syndrome. Our lives are the kind that his extreme position on abortion targets with death. Abortion is fake health and is deeply anti-woman as it exploits millions for profit, especially through Wolf’s financial backers—Planned Parenthood.”
