Our Boys Are in Trouble and There’s a Solution— ‘Saving Boys’ Now Delivered on Amb-OS
December 6, 2021
GREENVILLE, S.C.— Boys are struggling. The 2020 American Family Survey found that only 36% of parents believe churches are serving their sons well. The erosion of truth, blurring of gender lines, eschewal of risk and competition, and lack of male influence at school, in church, and at home have left boys feeling unguided, ungrounded, unappreciated and uninspired.
Trail Life USA (TrailLifeUSA.com), the largest Christ-centered, boy-focused scout-type organization in the country, has seen this issue with the boys of America and is providing a solution. Through outdoor activity, guided mentorship, and adventure that speaks to the heart of boys, Trail Life uses tried and true methods to engage boys and bring them closer to God in the great outdoors.
Trail Life CEO Mark Hancock recently launched a new, daily 1-minute radio program, “Saving Boys.” The “Saving Boys” radio feature offers practical tips and biblically based principles to help parents and mentors guide, ground, appreciate, and inspire boys to become godly men. The “Saving Boys” program is delivered on Amb-OS.
