What Impact Will Protests Have on Jobs and Business Sentiment?
June 2, 2020
Nationally syndicated host and biblically responsible investing authority Dan Celia is concerned about the economic impact of ongoing violent protests in cities around the country.
“Most of America is focused on the protests in cities across America,” Celia said. “It’s very interesting to note that some are cities where companies are cutting back, like Apple and Amazon. A number of other companies are cutting back in cities where the protesting is the highest. This will not be good for those cities—there’s no doubt about it. And the protests continue in many cities far beyond Minneapolis. It will be interesting to see what happens, but these things always have a negative impact on jobs and business sentiment in the areas where protests are happening.”
Celia hosts the daily three-hour program, “Financial Issues” and leads Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries (FISM, www.FinancialIssues.org), which has helped people of faith honor God with their finances and be free from a fear of money.
