ORLANDO, Fla.— In July 2020, the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF) announced an aggressive campaign against human trafficking. Just one month later, they had raised over $1 million in support.
In October, the foundation launched the Rescue Team, an army of people committed to engaging, inspiring and equipping others in the fight against trafficking. Today, the Rescue Team is leading the way in rescuing countless victims around the world and faithfully walking alongside them on the path to true healing and freedom.
Timothy Plan Founder and President Art Ally applauds the Tim Tebow Foundation for its dedication and leadership. “TTF is striving to make an impact in the fight against human trafficking,” he said. “In Proverbs 31:8-9, we are told to, ‘Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.’ This is precisely what the Tim Tebow Foundation is doing. I encourage Christians to visit the TTF website and support this important cause.”
In a letter to visitors on the TTF website, Tebow writes, “The Christian faith is about loving Jesus and loving people, and that is what we are trying to do with this foundation and all of our outreaches. Whether it is spending a weekend encouraging a child with a life-threatening illness through a W15H [a wish-granting program for sick children], helping a family adopt an international child with special needs, crowning kings and queens of the prom or showing God’s love through our four other outreaches, our goal is to let people know that God loves them and that they are worthy.”
As Timothy Plan explains on its website, the firm makes investment decisions prayerfully and responsibly. For over 25 years, it has been committed to operating with the integrity, excellence and wisdom that brings honor and glory to Jesus. It is a beacon for godly stewardship in the financial community.
