ORLANDO, Fla.— Timothy Plan, the leader in Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI), and its founder and President Art Ally are mourning the loss of financial planner David Nielsen, a longtime friend of Timothy Plan.
“David A. Nielsen was a man who wasn’t just a financial planner, but a servant to all who needed his help,” Ally said. “He was an excellent salesman and a top producer for Timothy Plan funds. But more than that, his authentic and caring personality made him our friend. Everyone at Timothy Plan called David and his wife Beverly ‘friends.’
“It was commonplace for David to call staff members out of the blue to offer encouragement and prayer. He took the time to learn the names of all of us here, including our spouses and our children, so that he could pray for all of us by name.”
“David would take on any client, no matter how big or how small,” Ally continued. “Whether they lived 10 miles or 1,000 miles away, David would make the time to visit each of them personally.
“At the Timothy Plan 25th anniversary, David travelled from his home in Wisconsin to Florida to be at that momentous occasion. There is no replacing a man who was more than just another financial advisor, but a friend and spiritual mentor to us all.”
Since 1994, Timothy Plan has helped advisers and investors achieve their financial goals through a pro-life, pro-family approach to investing—not only to benefit the investor but the broader culture.
