Lives Impacted in Practical Ways Through The Tide® Gospel Radio Programs on 3 Continents

A Kosovo Listener Reports: ‘I Love the Way Pastor Gani Brings Solutions to Our Everyday Problems; Sometimes We Think We Are the Only One Suffering and Living in an Evil World’

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.—What kind of help can people get from a few simple words?

If those words are in the language they were born to speak and straight from the Bible, a handful of words can make a world of difference.

The Tide® (www.thetide.org) global radio ministry counts on this truth when broadcasting global Gospel radio programs around the world—in seven countries on three continents in 24 languages.

“One of our heartfelt goals at The Tide ministry is to speak truth into people’s lives over radio airwaves,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “Everyone has challenges to deal with, no matter what country we’re living in. A radio listener from Kosovo recently shared the profound impact that our radio program has made in his life, and we are so thankful for these lives and the way the Lord has allowed us to impact them through His Word.”

The Tide ministry’s Radio 7 broadcasts in Kosovo have brought nearly 12,500 people closer to the Gospel message. A listener named Kujtim recently expressed that even though he isn’t very religious, he appreciates the way radio brings people around the world together in their common experiences.

“I love the way pastor Gani brings solutions to our everyday problems,” Kujtim said. “I tried in my daily life a lot of his advices and, to my amazement, they all work. I’m listening to a series of programs on a book, Ruth, and it is so interesting. Sometimes we think we are the only one suffering and living in an evil world. The world has been like that for thousands of years. Thank you for this great program that makes our lives easier.”

Later this year, The Tide ministry will offer programming in its 25th heart language—Isaan, spoken by 19 million people in Thailand. That initiative will allow Thailand to join multiple regions of Albania, Bhutan, India, Kosovo, Nepal, Nigeria and Zimbabwe, where The Tide ministry is already active in broadcasting gospel radio programming—in the languages people were born to speak.
