GREENVILLE, S.C. – Friday evening, May 21 at 9 PM ET, thousands of families and churches will kick off Summer at the Trail Life USA National Backyard Concert and Campout. Families across the country will gather in their backyards, at their churches, and in parks and campgrounds to participate in the National Backyard Concert and Campout, led by Trail Life USA (TrailLifeUSA.com).
“We welcome special guest speaker Dr. Daniel Huerta to the 2021 Backyard Concert and Campout,” said Mark Hancock, CEO of Trail Life USA. “Daniel is an avid outdoorsman, husband, and father. He oversees initiatives that equip moms and dads with biblical principles and counsel for raising healthy, resilient children rooted in a thriving faith. We are excited to have Dr. Huerta pour into our young men and their families from his wealth of experience, personal faith, and professional practice. Dr. Huerta is Vice President of Parenting and Youth at Focus on the Family and is also a psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, and author of 7 Traits of Effective Parenting.”
Other speakers at the National Backyard Concert and Campout include Dennis Rainey who is the cofounder of Family Life, and a special word from Operation Christmas Child. Musical guests, ‘For King and Country’ will bring music and worship to this live family campout event.
